Description:ERP NEW SALES REPRESENTATIVEDepartment: SalesBillable Hours Goal: N/APosition Type: Full TimeTravel Required: As neededJOB SUMMARY:The ERP Salesperson is responsible for selling ERP Software to medium and large businesses and managing sales and pipeline through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy and planning. This position participates in the development, presentation and negotiation of sales proposals and resulting contractual agreements.REPORTS TO: Director of SalesDIRECT REPORTS: NoneESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Lead sales strategy and all supporting sales activities to close new businessCollaborate with manager to define sales strategyDevelop and manage sales pipeline sufficient to meet sales goalsFollow ComTec structured sales process using defined metrics to measure performanceCreate and store all supporting sales documents as defined by ComTec proceduresADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with Marketing to plan and implement sales campaigns and marketing eventsMaintain current/updated sales forecastsBuild and maintain relationships at the "C" and "VP" levels of target accountsCoordinate outside resources in support of closing opportunitiesDevelop network of industry contacts to support prospecting activitiesMaintain daily timesheet and expense report entries and submit them accurately and timelyManage customer for first 60 days of on boarding and then successfully transition them to the assigned Customer Success Manager (CSM).Requirements:TECHNICAL SKILLS:Background in ERP markets and manufacturing/business processesMicrosoft Office - essentialSOFT SKILLS & ABILITIES:Strong sales prospecting via phone and other written/digital mediaStrong communication skills: written, verbal and presentationAn accomplished track record of selling to C-level executivesPleasant and professional demeanor in all client and internal communications, particularly under pressure situationsIntellectually resourceful with sound judgment and effective decision-making abilitiesStrong organization skills works efficientlyIn general owns issues through resolution although understands when to escalate a problem to management or another team member and whom to escalate to; accepts escalated issues; and mentors when appropriateOperates with client satisfaction in mindResults-orientedTreats all employees respectfullyEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE:Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferredExperience with business and manufacturing industry is requiredMinimum of 4 years experience with new business salesWORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Use of computer and office equipmentPerforms all administrative functions expected at this levelADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to schedule for evening or weekend work occasionallyValid driver's license in your state of residence and reliable personal vehicleDATE CREATED/REVISED: August 2019Compensation details: 95000-125000 Yearly SalaryPI20463edf2328-25660-36839447
