Corporate Sales & Agency Service Specialist Hybrid Work

a Corporate Sales & Agency Service Specialist for our Corporate
Sales & Marketing team located in Buffalo, NY. The Corporate Sales
& Agency Service Specialist will become part of a dedicated sales &
marketing team, collaborating with our agency partners to deliver
professional service that achieves the most optimal outcomes for
our policyholders, and profitable growth for Merchants and our

Merchants offers its colleagues a Hybrid work schedule. The Hybrid
work schedule requires 8 days per month in the office, with the
option to work the remaining days at home or in the office. This

team and colleagues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include,
but are not limited to: Cultivating solid relationships with an
assigned group of agencies by providing education on Merchants web
offerings, quoting platforms, products, and appetite.Providing
superior customer service by effectively researching and responding
timely to agent inquiries.Assist Regional Offices with marketing
and sales-related activities as identified by the Corporate Sales
Manager.Participate in agency management initiatives, which include
quarterly regional agency reviews and maintaining accurate agency
profiles. Qualifications & Skills:College degree or equivalent
sales or customer service work experience.Property and Casualty
Insurance experience is a plus.Customer focus driven with a high
energy level and sales acumen.Strong organizational, verbal and
written communication skills are required.Well-developed
presentation skills and the ability to use online conferencing
tools. Superior customer service skills.Working knowledge of
PowerPoint, Word and Excel.Merchants Insurance Group
