Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for
performing mechanical activities and work associated with
maintaining the facility and site operations.You will have the
opportunity to:Troubleshoot systems and mechanical equipment to
diagnose source of malfunctionPerform preventative maintenance work
such as roll changes, lubrication, replacement of belts and
bearings to maintain equipment reliabilityDismantle and assemble
machines and perform repairs with the use of power and hand tools.
Rebuilds pumps, annealing furnaces and other equipmentPlan and lay
out work according to models, blueprints, and drawings or other
written/oral specificationsPerform tasks such as welding, machining
using manual lathe/mill, wood carpentry and metal fabrication.
Ability to use precise measuring devices such as calipers, dial
indicators and tape measuresRepair and install water, steam, gas or
other type of pipe and fittingsAttend and actively participate in
safety, quality, and environmental initiatives or events as
requiredUse CMMS to perform work order completions and preventative
maintenance tasks. Assists lead-person and supervision with the
assigning, scheduling and prioritization of work order
requestsAssist in installing, moving, and relocating
equipmentAccomplish snow removal duties during winter months.
Ability to use fork truck and ground equipmentConsult with
supervision/lead and other mechanics on problem
resolution/troubleshooting. Keeps others informed of progress and
problems that ariseMake recommendations for spare parts, additional
stock room items, tools, etc.Other duties as
assignedREQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma or GEDPreferred graduate
of a recognized Millwright/Mechanic trade school/program with
subjects that include blueprint reading, machining, fabrication,
rigging, and weldingPreferred 3-5 years of on-the-job experience as
a millwright/mechanic within an industrial/chemical/pharmaceutical
settingHPPay Range:$25.00 - $35.00Actual base salary offered varies
based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill,
prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers,
demonstrated performance, and geographic location.The selection of
the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the
candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S.
controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction
of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms
Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export
Administration Regulations (EAR).The candidate selected will have
to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful
permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as
an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not
prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a
letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export
license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its
