Description:McIntosh Box & Pallet is hiring a Floor Supervisor with Forklift experience to join our team in Fredonia NY! We are looking for a technically skilled individual with excellent attention to detail for the position of Floor Supervisor with experience in operating a forklift. The goal will be to ensure that production standards are meant, and material and products are in the correct location to achieve maximum efficiency. This individual will be responsible, hardworking, and a team player! A Floor Supervisor will be responsible for supervising employees, overseeing production as well as moving material by operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Floor Supervisor Job Duties:Ensure daily sales/production goals are metAdhere to production schedules Assign duties to employees and follow up to ensure timely completion of work Manage daily schedules and employee shift assignments Provide guidance and feedback to employees and provide additional training as needed.Evaluate staff performances and work together to find solutions to any concernsWork to resolve conflicts that arise between employeesComply with company and industry policies and safety guidelinesExecute assignments accurately, timely and in a safe mannerEnsure all employees are working in accordance with all safety, company and industry laws, procedures and policies.
