Will work across multiple functions of the Logistics department to execute ideas, solutions and recommendations into systems and processes supporting the focus of the department and company.From your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include:Support the Supply Chain Optimization manager as needed.Assist in coordination of processes between the Logistics department, and Customers, Carriers, and Distribution Centers.Precise, timely, and professional communication with personnel in various departments.Identify opportunities and complete data analysis using MS ExcelSupport existing business processes and assist in development of documented proceduresThis description reflects management s assignment of essential functions, it does not proscribe or restrict the tasks that may be assignedProjectsSupport Customer Over, Short, Damaged and Returned claims processing, including documentation gathering and reconciliationAssist in communication and coordination between Transportation Operations, Transportation Planning, Distribution Centers and Freight Finance, in the areas of shipment/load recovery, freight accessorial approvals, and shipment tracking status.Assist in implementation of the shipment visibility tool
