JOB SUMMARYThe Senior Financial Analyst supports the business by providing both analysis and consultative advice to business leaders to assist them in understanding business performance and drive improvements.STATUS: Full TimeLOCATION: Rochester, NYDEPARTMENT: FinanceJOB TYPE: ExemptESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement new procedures and processes to enhance the productivity, efficiency, and workflow of the FP&A departmentDrive process automation, improve existing templates, financial databases, and BI tools while conducting monthly close and variance analysis as well as present key findings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisManage and lead the budget and forecasting process for FIFCO USA.Expert understanding of how the Fiscal Year budget and forecast numbers were put together to better explain the assumptions when comparing to the actualsCollaboratively work across functional areas as a trusted advisor to drive understanding and transparency of reported results while providing guidance and insight to both operating and marketing cost centers.Provide timely, accurate, and insightful reporting and analysis on monthly/year-to-date results against original budget, quarterly forecasts and prior yearLead the development of all aspects of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts by working with managers across the organizationInvestigate, analyze, and assist in developing solutions to address variances to plan. Complete understanding of the drivers of results.Monitor key performance indicators to individual departments and provide high-impact analysis to department executives and managersCreate expert financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives and identify trends, risks, and potential areas for improvementCollaborate with IT partners on uploading the Fiscal Year plan and forecast templates to help put together Quarterly P&LsWork in a group or independently.
