This background and bias for action, combined with diverse management and project experiences, positions MPG as a valuable resource for a wide variety of client initiatives.JOB OVERVIEWThe order to cash (OTC) business unit within MPG provides support to our clients for 3PL management, order management, accounts receivable and deductions management. OTC directly interfaces with over 100 retailers across the food drug and mass channels. On a daily basis, the ideal candidate will interface directly with nationally distributed high profile brands in health and beauty, food, fragrance and many other categories.Working in a team environment within a dynamic organization experiencing significant growth, you will be exposed to sales and operations planning, sourcing and product development, inventory management, domestic and international logistics (including import and export), as well as implementation of ERP software.With 2-5 years of experience, the ideal candidate brings real world experience to support our clients, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will facilitate client meetings, provide key reporting metrics, interface directly with 3PLs and analyze supply chain trends to deliver recommendations for increased customer satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTimely and accurate application of payments from Retailers to invoicesPosting of deductions from retailersResponsible for identifying the root cause of deductions and processing these deductions in a timely mannerObtain appropriate documentation to validate deductionsSubmission of claims to retailers for invalid deductionsFollow up on recovery of claimsReporting on status of both deductions and claimsAssist management in updating SOP's, forms, and processes used to better assist the team and our clients in understanding deductionsAssist management in the training/mentoring of other team membersREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCECollege degree in Accounting or related field of study preferredRelevant work experienceGood analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to learn ERP systemsAbility to communicate verbally and through e-mails with businessesExcellent MS Office skills including MS ExcelPrevious experience of working on continuous process improvements.Greenwood Description With an office in Buffalo, NY area We are a division of MPG, we focus on Order-to-Cash processes for finished goods of consignment clients as well as brands that we purchase from overseas and resell here in the United States.COVID VACCINATION REQUIREMENTSIn accordance with the Executive Order on Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols, Marketing Performance Group (MPG), has adopted the Federal Contractor COVID-19 Vaccination Policy to comply with the requirements for entities that are assigned to federal contracts/subcontracts, and to safeguard the health of our colleagues and their families; our clients and visitors; and the community at large from COVID-19.This policy applies to current and future MPG colleagues.
