WHAT WE NEED!



Join our hardworking team! The Terminal Operator-Loader/Unloader's primary responsibility is to safely and timely load/unload lumber/building products into both flatbed trucks and railcars.

50 car spots
Commodities Handled:
Lumber, Plywood, Warehousing
Handling Equipment:
Forklifts, Loaders
Safety and Security:
Lighted, Paved, and Fenced
Operating Hours:
7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday




Essential Responsibilities:




Daily loading and unloading of materials
Fulfill daily workload and tasks delegated by manager/cross train as necessary
Enforces safety policies and procedures with other employees and visitors to the facility


Education & Experience:




High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Driver License




Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and policies
Ability to practice safety procedures and practices at all times
Willing to learn how to operate and maintain rail car and trans-loading equipment (hoses, portable conveyors, small to medium-sized equipment, etc.)
Good conflict resolution skills
Able to pay close attention to details and identify and correct mistakes
Must possess good organization skills
Must be able to operate a forklift, or be willing to learn
Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Must have a willingness to learn new skills and be teachable.




Physical Requirements:


Physically able to climb up and down rail cars and ladders
Have the ability work outside in all weather conditions (snow, rain, sub-freezing temps, etc.)
Can carry at least 50 pounds
Ability to walk 1 to 2 miles per shift
