Actalent Engineering is Hiring Description:Perform detailed engineering functions required to develop new products from concept/design through manufacture. Provide technical assistance to support; new product developments, including custom design to order, and other special projects as well as production test and manufacturing engineering.

• Support manufacturing with technical problem solving
• Test engineering support including automated data collection for engineering and QIS for manufacturing
• Design improvements for low yielding, problematic assemblies and products
• Technical support for NPD pilot runs
• Technical support for QA validations
• Provide technical details required to implement design changes
• Provide technical training on the use of test equipment in the factory
• Training to production cells for electronic troubleshooting
• Programming updates to automated tests on the manufacturing floor
• Design, build, and verification of electronic circuits and subsystems
• Support sustaining engineering projects including improvements and enhancements of current products

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology
  • 0-5 years' experience in an electronic development environment
  • Understanding of RF, analog, and digital circuitry. Electronic circuit design and troubleshoot of products or systems containing embedded microcontrollers.
  • Basic utilization of CAD software for schematic circuits and practical mechanical designs.
  • Experience with electronic instrumentation, DMM, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, signal generator.
  • Understanding of RF theory, systems design, signal management and measurement.
  • Experience with PCs embedded controllers and IP based networking.
  • Knowledge of use of VNAs and Spectrum Analyzers. Programming experience with languages such as C, Python, Visual Basic.
  • Design, fabrication and testing of prototypes
  • Prepare product design documentation including specifications, technical plans and test procedures
  • Perform design verification tests, data collection and analysis
  • Research of new parts including integrated circuits and RF components
  • Implement adaptations of filters, combiner systems, amplifiers, circuit boards, and other RF devices
  • Provide design for manufacturability support in new product development projects
