Job Description:

Excellent Opportunity to join an established & locally owned Insurance Firm.

As a Personal & Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative you will be part of a 3 member service team. Job tasks include reviewing, processing and quoting incoming applications from our sales staff, contacting our carriers to process changes to existing policies, providing customer service to our existing customers as needed, downloading policy information from our carriers into our policy management system, issuing Binders & Certificates of Insurance, and more. On the job training provided. P&C licensed candidate a plus, but not required.

minimum of 1-2 years of insurance experience is required. Additionally, the candidate should possess the following skills:

1. Excellent communication and

interpersonal skills

2. Highly self-motivated

3. Positive attitude

4. Ability to work well in a fast-paced team

environment

5. Excellent computer skills including

proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

6. Thorough documentation skills

7. Post-Secondary education preferred

8. Ability to multi-task and prioritize is

essential

9. Property Casualty NYS license is a plus

10. Applied Epic software experience is

beneficial
