See below one of many career opportunities to join to RPO team!--Job Summary:The successful candidate for this position will be proficient at material handling of small optical components, hand-cleaning and loading them into coating-dedicated tools or fixtures. -- Ability to inspect for cosmetic defects is another important attribute of this position. ----You will:Support Technicians in cleaning and/or loading various sizes of optical lenses into custom fixtures in preparation for coating.--Support Technicians in quickly and safely unloading finished lenses, traying and packaging for inspection or shipment.--Inspect lenses when required per RPO's cosmetic quality standards and customer specifications.--Support Sonic room operator by preparing lenses and other optical components for Sonic cleaning or parts washing as well as assisting in tray cleaning.--Support peers in general housekeeping practices, cleanliness, organization, and safety.--Take daily direction from the Manufacturing Manager and Sr. Manufacturing engineer of CoatingWork with fellow employees to notify them of quality issues and address themRecord labor and production output accurately into the RPO MES system, EpicorMaintain a neat and safe work environmentLoad or "flip" coating chambers after the coating run is complete.--Measure witness samples on a spectrophotometer and record data necessary for shipment.----You have:Ability to communicate effectively to team members and management.High school diploma or GEDAbility to apply basic mathematical concepts.2+ years of manufacturing experience.--You are:Results-Oriented:--Motivated, hard-working and ready to level-up;Curious: --You never stop learning and have an insatiable desire to gain new skills and knowledge;Process Oriented:-- Well organized, demonstrating attention to detail;Analytical: --Possess a--"If there's a problem, I'll find a solution" --attitude;Accountable: --Demanding the highest quality from yourself and team members;Detail-Oriented:-- Have excellent time management and organizational skills;A Team Player:-- Reliable, collaborative, flexible with a positive 'get things done' attitude;A U.S. Person: Compliant with ITAR, EAR and other laws and regulations as defined: -- "U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents ("Green Card" holders), persons granted refugee status or asylum status in the United States, or temporary residents granted amnesty."--Environment & Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand: use hands to fingers, handle or feel: and reach with hands and arms. May involve prolonged periods of magnified inspection (eye strain).Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.The employee is frequently required to use the computer.May involve the use of oils and solvents.Subject to some soilage and irritation from cleaning solutions. (Lab Coats provided)Generally works in a clean environment and works to maintain the environment as such.Safety Glasses are required--and--May require area specific safety trainingThis position works in a manufacturing environment.
