Partner with safety, quality, and department managers to clearly define roles and responsibilities, job safety analysis, physical requirements, and work instructions. Implement effective training to help employees perform their job tasks safely and reach their full potential, with heightened awareness of the conditions, equipment operation, and environment they will work in. The goal is to improve employee retention, engagement, safety, and product quality through effective training.--From your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include:--Ensure each position has an updated job description, training checklist, job physical requirements, job safety analysis, standard operating procedures (work instructions), and verification of skillsets once training is complete.Develop employee engagement through effective training opportunities that support employees' strengths.Enhance hourly workforce skills to perform their roles safely and with the expected quality.Develop manager, supervisor, and hourly trainer skills to become effective coaches using the E-Learning system.Assess training needs through stay-interviews with employees and consultations with managers/supervisors.Track training activities, ensure all paperwork is signed off and properly filed, and evaluate program effectiveness.Develop alternative training methods to ensure all demographics benefit from the material covered.Collaborate with Corporate Training and Development to support and implement company initiatives.Present information using various instructional techniques, including role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, computer-based training, or presentations.Support employee training programs across all shifts.Work with all departments to ensure training plans include adherence to plant policies and regulatory requirements.Demonstrate a commitment to a safe working environment that promotes employee health and well-being.Travel and/or extended or off-work hours may be required.Use tools such as a computer, phone, and/or allowances provided to fulfill responsibilities.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential duties and responsibilities.RequirementsFrom your STORY to oursQualified applicants will contribute the following:--Education & ExperiencePreferred Bachelor s degree in education, training and development, or a related field.3+ years of experience coordinating and delivering workplace training to a diverse audience in assorted disciplines, preferably in a manufacturing setting.Specialized KnowledgeKnowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and measuring training effects.Skills / AbilitiesSelect and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation.Active listening ability to provide full attention to others, understand points being made, and ask appropriate questions.Effective communication ability to clearly articulate information with no misinterpretations.Monitoring assessing current state and developing actions for future state (e.g., skill assessment, development plans, performance gaps).Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Experience with computer-based training software (Alchemy or other Learning Management Systems).Proficiency in video conferencing software (Teams or other systems).--
