Administrative Assistant - Human ResourcesJob Summary:The Administrative Assistant of Human Resources will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office. Duties/Responsibilities: - Handles routine employee inquiries - Coordinates employee leave of absence requests - Schedules, organizes pre-employment interviews and appointments - Data entry of daily job cards into accounting system - Creates/Organizes/Files Personnel related records. - Will support other departments, Finance, Procurement, Engineering with assigned job duties. - Coordinates the Procurement of Safety reward merchandise. - Prepares purchase orders for human resource office for Safety rewards. - Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures. - Ability to operate general office equipment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to type 60 words a minute. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. - Ability to maintain confidential information.Education and Experience: - Associates degree preferred. - Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred.Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
