is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Specialist to support our
Lockport, NY production facility. As a Supply Chain Specialist you
will be responsible for handling order materials in Oracle,
maintaining inventory at a high level of accuracy, coordinating
with internal groups both locally and at other ATI Locations,
including coordination with local operations to meet specific
production requirements. A successful Supply Chain Specialist will
quickly grasp ATI s processes and business culture, successfully
balance multiple projects at various stages with limited
supervision in a fast-paced, competitive environment, analyze and
resolve difficult problems effectively and timely thru the
implementation of long-term solutions, and possess a strong
continuous improvement mindset. Essential Functions
Learn and work from product knowledge
to be a frontrunner in the standardization of production
recipes.Review raw material item data for completeness and
validity. Assist in the Auditing of lower level technicians work
for accuracy before releasing to the shop floor.Regulate
conformance within their Engineering Change Order Group based on
customer specifications and internal requirements.Coordinate with
Technical, Quality Control, and Sales, and Compliance to drive
standardization for their responsible group.Diagnose problems with
standard work product and work to solution.Make recommendations and
drive improvements to the process.Detect and resolve unusual
conditions, improper operations, and deviant situations.Support and
conduct New User Orientations.Transfer knowledge to lower level
team members to grow the team in knowledge and proficiency.Perform
these and other duties as assigned or as indicated by
responsibilities.
High School Diploma
Knowledge of Oracle Knowledge of
recycled and raw materials and manufacturing environmentWorking
knowledge of Windows based computer applicationsAbility to analyze
related dataAbility to effectively communicate with internal and
