Reason for opening: To help with Lab cleanliness and organization
Potential for assignment extension, or conversion to FTE: Yes to both based on performance and business needs
Work Schedule: Mon Fri, 8am 4PM. OT not expected but is available.
What would be the primary duties for this position: Ideally a chemical/scientific background (Or spent time in a lab) since they will be handling and cleaning glassware.
Additionally, they will work the QC team to organize lab equipment between both chemistry labs. (Chemistry lab experience is a plus but not required)
Since they will be working in a Chemistry Lab, candidate will be required to use lab coat, safety glasses, etc. (Training will be provided)
Technical and soft skills required for this position: Organized, Microsoft program proficient, Excel, Word (will not use Excel extensively, good to have experience but not required)
Top 3 skills you would like to see in a candidates resume: Pharmaceutical background, lab experience, interpersonal.
Preference on previous work experiences industry: Pharma is preferred
Education Background Requirement: Ideally a BS in a science field, but even some college science courses will be okay. Please note: a science degree is preferred but is not required.
