The OpportunityWe are the culinary team fueling a Professional Sports Team in our own private dining facility. We are looking for multiple fast-paced prep cooks & line cooks with availability to work weekdays and weekends. The position includes working with the highest quality and freshest ingredients in with progressive techniques, while working directly with the teams nutrition program. Daily menu changes, hot, cold, and interactive station positions available in a positive, team-oriented, clean, and spacious high-end open kitchen. We are providing services for 150 personnel on a daily basis.
Flexible hours*available
* This is a majority Full-Time position with -1.5 month downtime per year.
* Monday-Friday: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
* Saturday-Sunday: Various Shifts based on Events
* Holidays
REQUIREMENTS:
* Preferred: Experience working with commercial kitchen equipment, such as in a high-volume kitchen or in catering.
* Knife skills are a huge plus, but by no means necessary!
* Fast-paced and efficient worker
* Ability to work well with a team & has a positive attitude
* Individual who has a knack for getting things done, no matter the circumstance
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment & take on whatever task is needed in the kitchen from cooking to dishwashing to packing meals
* Reliable transportation and the ability to be on time every day
* Discretion based on working in a private kitchen.

• Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures, as well as food production.
• Prepare food and beverage products for customers by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines.
• Set up and operation of kitchen equipment.
• Clean equipment properly according to correct procedures.
• Keep workstation clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and management.Qualifications
  • Attentive and detailed oriented.
  • Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow procedures and take directions; work as a team player.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions.Physical Requirements
    • Able to stand for long periods of time including bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching.
    • Able to lift 20lbs or more.
    • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.
