Job Description:

*We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Training Coordinator on 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:30A-3:30P!*

_Nissha Medical Technologies is a growing Buffalo based company specializing in printed products for the gaming, medical, and recording supply markets. A global leader in these areas, Nissha is expanding into new markets and is looking for qualified candidates to grow with the company._

*Summary: *
This role will be responsible for the training of Manufacturing Employees in all areas of production on various processes and pieces of equipment.

*Essential Job Functions: *

Work through a "Train the Trainer" regimen to become well-versed in all Manufacturing tasks and job-duties across the plant.

Provide new and existing Manufacturing Employees with hands on and classroom style training and guidance on various tasks and operations across multiple product areas. This includes monitoring and following up with Employees on their needs and progress throughout the assigned shift.

Support Training of employees to maintain continuous run operations of equipment within the assigned product area, keeping equipment running while maintaining quality & productivity for employees when needed.

Grow the "Training Library" with the creation of Point-Of-Use visual Job Aides to provide reference material for employees at their workstations.

Complete necessary paperwork and evaluations required for employee training.

Communicate effectively with Management and Supervision regarding new employee development, progress, areas of concern, etc.

Become advocate for new hires as they progress through their Training regimen

Participate in orienting the new employees to Nissha Medical Technologies by providing a positive view of the Company, the job, Management, and working at Nissha.

Provide guidance and training to employees on troubleshooting their own equipment.

Training to be inclusive of various measuring devices including digital calipers, precision scales, micrometers, etc., making accurate readings in line with production specifications.

Training to be inclusive of processing production paperwork for accurate information, as well as finished-goods preservation and processing

Training to be inclusive of performing quality checks at required production stages and processes.

Training to be inclusive of finished product movement (hand / fork truck operation if applicable, etc).

Communicate with Machine Operators, Press Operators, Team Leads, and Supervisors on production issues, needs, and recommendations to improve production effectiveness and efficiency, including safety recommendations.

Will require rotating between various product areas and tasks.

Ensure compliance with company safety rules and policies including OSHA and ISO requirements.

Other duties as assigned.

*Requirements: *

* GED or High School diploma
* 3-5 years manufacturing experience and/or exceptional demonstrated ability to effectively train and work with others
* Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, and Power Point, Outlook

*Knowledge Skills, Abilities: *

* Ability to communicate effectively and confidently verbally and in writing
* Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
* Ability to effectively and appropriately communicate with Management and Supervision regarding employee development
* Proven ability to effectively train others
* Ability to effectively manage multiple, simultaneous activities and establish priorities successfully
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work in a constructive, positive manner with others in a team environment
* Basic reading, math, and direction following skills
* Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute production orders and operating procedures
* Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and Management
* Ability to operate all required production equipment
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Ability to clearly explain and illustrate manufacturing concepts and processes
* Knowledge of all Nissha production areas, packaging equipment,
* Knowledge of all Nissha personnel policies and practices including attendance, etc.

*Physical Requirements: *

Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time. 75-100%

Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands. Also includes finger dexterity. 75-100%

Bending: Stooping, crouching, full back and leg flexibility. 50-75%

Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees. 25-50%

Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. 50-75%

Lifting: Picking up and movement of objects. May involve carrying as well. 50-75%

Climbing: Ascending or descending using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. 25-50%

Vision: Ability to see and recognize detail. (Corrected or uncorrected.) 75-100%

Repetitive Motion: Recurring movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. 75-100%

Pushing/Pulling: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force to provoke movement, or to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. 25-50%

Twisting: Moving in a contorted motion, usually involving the back, and usually repeatedly. 25-50%

Sitting: Remaining seated for a period of time, in one position. 0-25%
