Job Description:

Earn a sign on bonus of $1,000! Endeavor Health Services is looking for Counselor to join our team. The Counselor will assess clients seeking shelter from DSS, using the GAD7 and the PHQ9. The goal is to determine if the client can comply with the homeless program's requirements. If services are needed, the Counselor will make a referral for services and follow up with the client. Documentation on clients attendance (or lack of attendance) to the appointment will be required. Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychiatric/Community Mental Health Nursing or other professional Human Services field as defined by NYS Mental Hygiene Code.
• Five (5) plus years experience providing direct services in an Alcoholism Treatment/Substance Abuse program or providing direct services in a Mental Health Program.
• Appropriate qualified health professional certificate or licensure - LCSW/LMHC/LMSW and or CASAC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Connections software or other Behavioral Health software required.

  • $1,000 bonus for full-time positions. Half paid out in first paycheck and second half after 6 months of employment. Must be actively employed at time of payout.
