Job Description:

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

Flexible hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days from home). May consider remote work within M&T's footprint.

Overview:

This individual works closely with the Talent Acquisition staff, as a partner to fulfill employment needs across the bank footprint. They need to interact/communicate with both internal and external candidates as well as various levels of management. This position is often the first contact/impression a potential candidate has of the Bank.

Primary Responsibilities:

Greet and assist both internal and external individuals to the Human Resource Division, providing informational assistance and directing individuals to appropriate personnel.
Answer multi-line telephone system, directing calls to the appropriate area.
Administer various types of employment testing as directed by recruiters.
Organize and perform accurate and timely processing of interview scheduling activities for employment candidates, including travel arrangements.
Build candidate profiles and when necessary perform merge activity.
Assist Team Leader with process improvement initiatives, as necessary.
Provide back up support in absence of Team Lead.
Assist first level HR Administrator representatives with questions regarding procedures and problems.
Report on daily, monthly and yearly results to the Team Lead.
Train new employees.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum one year of successful administrator experience, ideally in Human Resources
Ability to use independent judgment, discretion and maintain confidentiality of bank matters.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
Ability to prioritize.
Demonstrated proficiency of quickly responding to questions in an accurate and timely fashion.

Education and Experience Preferred:

Associates Degree in Business, Communications or Human Resources
Works with limited supervision.
Excellent knowledge of company policies and procedures regarding talent acquisition and the activities that support those efforts.
Ability to work as a member of team in a dynamic environment.
Ability to use independent judgment, discretion and maintain confidentiality of bank matters.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
Demonstrated proficiency of quickly responding to questions in an accurate and timely fashion.
Ability to prioritize.
