These are just some of the qualities we're looking for in our new content specialist at Rich's. This digitally-savvy individual will become part of our fast-paced Corporate Communications team, helping to shape and evolve the way we communicate with our key audiences - our associates (hey, this could be you!), our customers and our communities. From creating compelling content that helps move the needle across our global organization (did you know we're in 100+ countries around the world?), to our social and digital spaces and everywhere in between, there's much opportunity to drive our team's efforts forward in creating and delivering messages that matter KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES Concept, create and edit engaging content for various internal and external audiences and channels, including snackable, short- and long-form; videos and visually-driven pieces to be leveraged across communications channels Development of short- and long-term content strategy, in partnership with Corporate Communications team members, including development and management of an integrated content calendar across channels Partner with Corporate Communications managers to manage content on digital and online channels, including Rich's social channels and websites, ensuring news and information is kept fresh and up-to-date Serve as day-to-day manager of Rich's internal Corporate Communications channels including email, Enrich Caf-- (intranet), and Yammer collaborating closely with Rich's Associate Digital Experience team, as well as serving as the point person for Rich's digital asset management tools Serve as communications business partner to key leaders, departments and functions, as prioritized by the company, developing compelling communication experiences for their stakeholders, while reflecting and reinforcing Rich's key priorities and values Develop new ideas to continually improve our internal and external communications and shared understanding of Rich's vision, mission and strategy Partner with team members to collaborate with creative agency partners and manage freelance resources Develop strong understanding of our target audiences, including what types of content they want to consume and how they want to consume it Ensure that high-quality content, standards and best practices are maintained across platforms Stay up to date on digital, social media and design best practices. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing or a related field Three to five (3 - 5) years of experience in a related role; agency experience a plus Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic business environment, with a client service-driven mindset and deliver under pressure Digitally-savvy: understands changing social landscape; identifies new communications channels to engage and inform Must possess strong digital dexterity that will allow for quick understanding and adaption of new technology and platforms Basic graphic design skills required (Photoshop and Illustrator); video editing skills a plus (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and/or multimedia software/tools) Excellent writing, story-telling and copy editing skills, particularly for the digital world Keen understanding of SEO guidelines to optimize content Passion for content, an understanding of digital platforms and a solution-oriented approach to executing strategies Understanding of Microsoft's O365 environment strongly preferred Data-driven: able to understand and distill analytics to improve communications strategy and reach Must be a team player, understanding individual success is driven and supported by team success Collaborates effortlessly among departmental and cross functional teams; adept at cultivating relationships with people at all levels of our global organization #earlycareers #LI-AD1 Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), are committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state, or local law.
