Day Shift:  7 AM to 3 PM

Evening Shift:  3 PM to 11 PM

Night Shift: 11 PM to 7 AM

We are located on the Mount St. Mary's Campus on Lewiston Rd, Lewiston NY, Our Lady of Peace is one of the area's most complete long-term care facility offering Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Memory Care. The 250-bed skilled nursing facility offers a full range of services in a caring, residential setting designed to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of each resident.

What You Will Do:

As our Certified Nursing Assistant, you are the “front-line!” You are the one team member who patients remember because you spend many hours of direct care with them!

As an Associate with Our Lady of Peace, you will have the opportunity to assist with basic patient care activities.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the professional staff by performing various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the residents.
  • Assist with the delivery of resident care (baths, personal grooming, feeding) as directed by the Unit Manager, RN, or LPN.
  • Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

  • Strive to incorporate the philosophy and mission of Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence and to incorporate the Facility's goal of: Quality care, in a personal manner with total regard for individual human dignity.
  • Assist in the delivery of Physical and Occupational Therapy and all of its assigned duties and responsibilities as well as responsible to work with residents needing restorative nursing measures to gain or to maintain their highest possible practical functional level.
  • Provide consistency between therapist's work and carry over by nursing on a daily basis.
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
