Who we are looking for:

ACV Auctions is looking for a Salesforce Engineer, III to work with the team that will focus on building and delivering new product features that will change the way our customers experience and interact with ACV Auctions. We are committed to being an innovative leader in the online auction space and we are seeking strong talent who can deliver on audacious goals and product features. You'll get the chance to build multiple enterprise custom Salesforce applications, and your commitment to removing organizational inefficiencies and maintaining a healthy application environment will also play a key role in enabling future growth.

In short, you'll be integral to building highly scalable business application solutions and developing innovative solutions for business process automation. Not to mention, you'll get to impact people in a meaningful way and work with a highly collaborative passionate group of developers.

What will you do:

  • Design and implement systems in Salesforce to support automation of our CRM, SaaS operations, and customer support processes.
  • Participate in storyboard and solution design sessions - recommend alternative approaches and best practices, define technical impact, and provide sizing estimates.
  • Follow an iterative software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support processes.
  • Build integration components to transition data from local systems.
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, and formulas - participate in the integration process with other enterprise systems.
  • Manage Salesforce integration with existing systems and third-party providers.
  • Assist in the hiring and development of a high-performing development team.

What you will need:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Web Services, REST, XML and outbound messaging.
  • Development experience with Eclipse IDE, Apex, Visualforce, webservices, API, SOAP, Lightning components, Process Builder and VF flow.
  • 5-7+ years of Salesforce development experience (APEX and VisualForce);
  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other systems through the use of APIs, REST and other Web Service;
  • Experience with JavaScript and jQuery preferred;
  • Experience working with a SaaS / subscription-based sales model;
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration scenarios leveraging out of the box and third-party solutions;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SFDC Developer (401) & SFDC Advanced Developer (501) certifications
  • Experience in a technology company a plus
  • Experience interfacing with business and technical teams
