We are partnering with a prestigious hospital in the Buffalo area
in search of an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to assist with
supply chain operations.
This opportunity is a 6-month temporary assignment working
full-time, Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. The pay rate is $19
per hour. This facility is ensuring the health and safety of their
employees by practicing social distancing and requiring masks to be
worn at all times as well as undergoing a wellness screening
process before entering the building.
In this role you will be responsible for assisting with
purchasing operations within the supply chain department. Duties
will include: calling in orders to suppliers; verifying price,
delivery and other items; researching supplier information; working
with end users to validate order requirements; working with
receiving and suppliers to validate receipt of goods; updating MMIS
item master files; working with suppliers to validate contracts,
item descriptions, and other information and then inputting into
MMIS; as well as any other duties as assigned.
BS in Business and at least 2 years of experience in
purchasing/supply chain as a buyer, expeditor, analyst, purchasing
agent, or purchasing clerk is highly preferred.
AAS in Business or related field with at least 1 year of
purchasing/supply chain or materials management experience is
