Job Description:

IMAGINE STAFFING is recruiting for a Benefits Administrator for a great opportunity in the Amherst, NY area. Summary: Act as a partner within the HR Associate Service Center Group and in support of field operations. -This position is primarily responsible for providing day-to-day operational support for Benefits and Leave of Absence administration. Understands the correlation between employee data maintenance and benefits eligibility; must be able to perform analysis, research, and solve benefit issues; sometimes working directly with benefit vendors to do so. In addition to health & welfare and 401k benefits, must also have strong knowledge of State and Federal regulations for leave and disability. Possess skills necessary to handle confidential information and respond to sensitive and complex issues accordingly. The position also ensures appropriate controls are in place to ensure accurate and timely data entry in support of benefits administration activities. Provide assistance with the effective and consistent coordination and implementation of HR business processes, functions and procedures. Helps ensure an effective and efficient HR Operations function which delivers business focused HR support and services, and guidance to internal clients relative to -benefits and leave of absence processes. Responsibilities: Conduct problem solving activities for escalated issues and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to discover resolutions; integrate resolutions into process improvements as appropriate Demonstrate expertise and apply it to the development, execution and refinement of Associate Service Center data administration and internal customer facing related processes. - Act as subject matter expert (SME) for HR Initiative administration and data management; resolve escalated issues and cases, answer questions, and conduct knowledge transfer as necessary. Escalate complex issues as necessary. Accountable for data integrity to include quality, accuracy, and usability of employee data and related interfaces. Audit data to ensure systems and processes working correctly (eg, eligibility feeds to the Benefits Exchange, Aon); partner with HR solutions to correct as necessary Performs group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and researches/reports on any data discrepancies. Ensures HR programs are documented and compliant with HR strategies, policies and governmental regulations. Assists in HR Operations and administration including record keeping, identification and implementation of initiatives/solutions to enhance efficiency and service and organization wide communications. Ensuring compliance and accuracy by researching and updating any compliance requirements and auditing for compliance. Working with vendors, ensure that any required notifications are provided. - Support reporting and analytics that enable field and corporate compliance. Working together with the Associate Service Center Group, ensure adequate coverage for the matters assigned in a timely manner. - - Develop expertise and assist with other issues as assigned. Provide support and expertise to field HR teams and subsidiary leadership. Plays a key role in identifying, developing and implementing Human Resources plans/training designed to reinforce/accomplish the organization's strategic initiatives. Interact, advise and update field operations regarding matters handled that impact their operations. - Requirements: 2-4 years prior experience in human resources, or HRIS profession. -Prior experience working in Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Kronos plus. - Experience handling confidential matters. - Familiarity with anti-discrimination statutes, rules and regulations. - Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook (or similar web browsers). - Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
