the packaging industry. We currently have an exciting position for
a 12-hour Production Supervisor available at our Cheektowaga, NY
facility. This role will be working with the 24 / 7 team. Hours
are: 6PM to 6AM. 2 days on, 2 days off. Training will be conducted
on 1st for a minimum of 2 months. Pay Range: $85,000 - $90,000
based on experience. Retention Bonus: $2,000 retention bonus with
this role. $1,000 paid after 30 days and $1,000 after 6 months.

responsible for the following: Maintains a safe environment with
respect to equipment, facility, and process through education in
safety and constant vigilance regarding safe practices and
procedures with all employees. Follows, supports and leads by
example all safety, quality protocol and company policies.
Effectively Mentor, coach, and oversee the work of the team to meet
safety, operational, and quality needs. Input in establishing goals
and metrics in alignment of organizational strategy and effectively
communicates to team. Administer established policies and
procedures and provide input for change as needed. Collaborate
effectively with other organizational areas including but not
limited to, Quality, Safety, Customer Service, Sales, Finance,
Maintenance and Product Development departments. Ability to
determine needs, solve problems and effectively report on issues.
Assist in ensuring inventory and staffing levels meet demand
Addresses all staff issues related to attendance, performance and
conduct and completes corrective actions. Completes annual review
process with the team and conducts training of staff when required.
All other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree
preferred or High School Diploma with a trade-based education,
certification or apprenticeship program to apply technical theories
to production processes and plans. Minimum of 7 years of expertise
in printing, flexography, and converting operations to successfully
manage the diverse activities occurring on an alternate production
shift is preferred. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience to
effectively utilize staff and resolve personnel problems, and
successfully train personnel on production equipment as required.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
to prioritize and manage a variety of simultaneous issues, and to
communicate effectively with production personnel, customers, and
vendors. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and Outlook) are required. Knowledge of SAP is a plus! Maintains
strict confidentiality and protects privacy of
confidential/sensitive information. Exceptional time management and
organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines. Ability
to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations)
with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external
clients. Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making;
able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or
