Job Description:
Job Title: ID/OD Grinding Associate Location: Fairport, NY
Summary: We are seeking experienced CNC Grinders for a
well-established manufacturing facility in Fairport, NY. This is a
full-time, direct hire position offering a 4-day workweek (Fridays
off). Candidates should be dependable team players with
intermediate to advanced blueprint reading skills including
GD&T, and a solid background in tooling and machining. Shifts
Available: 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM 2nd
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM Pay: $22.00 – $32.00
per hour (depending on experience) Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC ID cylindrical grinders Inspect first piece
and own work to ensure quality standards are met Operate precision
gauging equipment Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean
work environment Work independently with minimal supervision Follow
all work instructions accurately Qualifications: High School
Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of CNC grinding experience
and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and
experience Intermediate to advanced blueprint reading skills
including GD&T Strong math skills, including working with
decimals, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions Ability
to interpret written and oral instructions Key Competencies:
Dependability and strong attendance Attention to detail and quality
focus Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills Physical Requirements: Ability to
stand and walk for extended periods Frequent use of hands and arms
for machine operation Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs Ability to
