Human Resources / Customer Service Specialist Our Exciting Work Environment The Delaware North Associate Service Center is located at our Amherst, NY campus in Northpointe Business Park, and provides a full array of HR, payroll, and benefits services to our associates and Human Resource leaders at our field locations. Must be willing to work Monday - Thursday from 10:30 AM - 7 PM , and Friday from 9:30 AM - 6 PM.The Opportunity The Human Resources / Customer Service Specialist will work in our Associate Service Center and handles various HR, benefit and or payroll related activities that may include data analysis and input requiring knowledge of related law. Provides clerical and data entry support to ASC and HR departments. Performs all portions of ongoing benefit administration benefit eligible associates, including distribution of appropriate enrollment packets and confirmation statements, review of elections, provides necessary follow-up. Works with appropriate resources to resolve any inquiries and transactions in a timely, accurate fashion. Assist with internal customer calls (50-70%) and emails providing support and information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests. Records and documents all associate and internal customer calls or email inquiries using HR HelpDesk, providing relevant information that support operation standards. Escalates complex issues or problems to appropriate ASC Analyst. Specific duties include: Provide confidential support through a variety of complex duties Assist with the data entry and maintenance of salaried, home office hourly, and newly acquired unit associates Be highly proactive in identifying, and avoiding, potential issues related to daily operations Collaborates with HR System Analyst to troubleshoot, brainstorm HR System data solutions, and assist with data management and testing. Process sensitive personnel information (merit increases, demotions, terminations) Assist with Open Enrollment Deliver exceptional customer service to callers regarding HR, payroll and benefit related inquiries. Resolve all inquiries/transactions in a timely accurate fashion and follow up as necessary. Research required information utilizing the Company s HR, payroll, benefit plan policies and practices accessing internal and external systems to obtain applicable information. Performs transactions within HCM and or timekeeping applications as necessary. Assemble and distribute company materials, information, and periodic communications such as benefit enrollment materials, benefit confirmation statements, Wage Theft Prevention Act notices, etc. Provide general clerical support in the form of filing, scanning, and data entry in HR systems.Qualifications: 2 year degree in preferred (HR, Business), 1 3 years of experience in a related field with strong customer service skills and a high proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Experience with HR, Payroll and Time Keeping systems is preferred. This is an ideal role for the recent college graduate who majored in HR and has some prior internship experience!
