Job Description Remedy is excited to partner with a world-class manufacturing facility as they being their search for a talented Human Resources Generalist This HR Generalist will support the Lancaster, NY facility by providing human resources expertise and services Check out these great details: Job Title : HR Generalist Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire Location : Lancaster, NY Hours : Typically Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm Salary : Client is targeting around $75k but can be flexible for those who possess the ideal background/experience Work Perks: Competitive pay 401K with employer match Comprehensive health benefits Supportive culture Wellness programs Continuing education opportunities Excellent career advancement opportunities Essential duties for this HR Generalist will include: Maintains strong relationships with employees and assists them with day-to-day needs (i.e., benefits, payroll, etc.). Assists employees and supervisors in handling and resolution of personnel issues. Performs onboarding duties for all new employees and maintains employee records Communicates and administers the employee benefit program Works with the Accounting department to process Hourly and Non-Exempt payroll. Participates in a quality hiring and selection process. Oversees the Affirmative Action Planning files throughout the year and completes the annual plan Coordinates with managers and agencies to oversee the temporary employee program. Maintains the temporary time sheets, reports hours to agencies, and reports the monthly temp counts to Corporate. Assists in the coordination of the Wellness program and the Activities Committee. Prepares end of month reports (i.e., temporary help and employee counts). We're actively looking for HR Generalists with the following background profile: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field highly desired, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3-4 years of prior experience in similar human resources function Computer skills to include Excel, Word and Power Point; knowledge of PeopleSoft extremely valuable This is genuinely one of the best HR opportunities out there right now You'll be joining a great company where they already have plans for additional/long-term growth for this person.
