As a Line Cook, you'll assist in creating menu items and ensuring guests are presented with a meal they can't receive elsewhere. What will I do? - Ensure incredible service is provided by effectively handling a variety of tasks - Preparing ingredients to be used by the culinary team as well as creating high quality meals - Follow proper recipes, knife skills and cooking techniques to provide consistent ingredients and finished products - Balance prep work while ensuring guests meals are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards - Comply with applicable State Restaurant Health Codes and Regulations Required Qualifications - 1 or more years' experience working as a line cook - Knife skills - Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant ingredients and cuisine Preferred Qualifications - Associate's or bachelor's degree in culinary arts - Experience working on multiple kitchen stations - Experience working a variety of positions in the restaurant or hospitality industry At Wegmans, we've always believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
