The Manager-in-Training (MIT) will have the opportunity to work
in and learn operations in all areas of the Restaurant and Banquet
departments on a rotating basis, and to direct, implement, and
maintain a strong service and management philosophy which serves as
a guide to respective staff. The MIT position will require ability
to work flexible shifts in a 24x7 business environment, including
weekends and holidays, with ability to travel and relocate to
accommodate future growth opportunities. The MIT will report to the
Assistant General Manager. We are seeking an energetic,
service-oriented leader who can effectively direct, train, coach,
motivate, engage and provide feedback to the staff, supervisors and
managers on a daily basis in accordance with the standards of
Marriott and Shaner Hotels.
Ideal candidates will be recent hospitality/ restaurant management
graduate looking to get their first supervisory/ management
opportunity or a possible first time supervisor that's looking to
get into a company with growth opportunities and training.
