Job Purpose- Oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department,
maintain the quality and standards that all guest should have when
they visit our propertiesDuties
- Scheduling to meet hotel needs based on rooms sold(Laundry and
Housekeepers) This means preparing to cut staffing levels when
needed and increase staffing levels when needed
- Supplies - Make sure Storage Rooms are ready for housekeepers
and staff has enough supplies to get through the day in a timely
manner matching the time management sheets.
- Cleanliness of storage rooms daily - Sweep / Mop - Stock carts
daily must be watched by Inspectors and Executive.
- Enter Rooms and train staff to update rooms in the telephone
system. If not working, communicate with desk best you can.
- Make up daily housekeeping sheets
- Make up daily inspector sheets
- Make up daily payroll sheet for time out for housekeepers (
Time Management Form) Give Copy to General Manager before leaving
for the day.
- Take lunch break before Housekeepers - 11:30am. All Inspectors
also should be taking lunch at 11:30am. Lunch time at 12:00 noon
you must go around and check the housekeepers status and inform
management where we are for the day.
- Inform Desk and General Manager daily when leaving the
- Coordinate needs for rooms with laundry and maintenance
- Daily Final walk through must be done so no rooms are left open
and unfinished. Daily walk through of main areas to check for
garbage & Entrance doors for hand prints.
- Interview, Hire and Train both Housekeeping and Laundry
Departments properly. Fill out hiring paperwork and proper
Identification when hiring. New hires must be in system before they
- Evaluate, coach, counsel and assist other housekeepers
throughout the day
- Make sure stock rooms are stocked in order for the girls to

Operations throughout the day, week, month. Work with Laundry
Manager to meet hotel supply needs for the housekeepers & storage
