The company offers RoHS compliant products as well as lead-containing components for QPL military/defense and other demanding requirements. Throughout all of these interactions, the Customer Service Representative must maintain a high level of professionalism and present the organization in the best light possible. Each interaction affects the companys bottom line in either a positive or negative way, so a great Customer Service Representative must add value to the organization.Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services.
  • Opens customer accounts and maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
  • Analyzes and identifies customer needs, and collaborates with management team to provide viable solutions
  • Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other duties may be added as skill set capabilities are identified.Professional Qualifications & Skills
    • Customer service experience.
    • Work with management team to stay updated on product knowledge, and be informed of changes to company policies.
    • Demonstrated ability to comply with the Quality system.
    • Collaboration with QC, Production Control, Purchasing and Engineering to fulfill the needs of the customer.
    • Maintain a high level of professionalism and work to establish a positive rapport with every customer, whether internal or external.
    • Update documentation in the customer service database with each contact.
    • Excellent communication skills, including phone, email, presentation skills.
    • Active listening, comprehension of complex concepts, and problem solving.
    • Impact the companys bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers.
    • Analyzing information accurately and disseminating facts to stakeholders.
    • Efficient and effective multi-tasking.QualificationsTo successfully perform this job, an individual must be capable of performing each of the essential duties with or without accommodations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to compose correspondence. Effective presentation skills.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, price, and percent.Reasoning Ability: Application of common sense understanding to comprehend instructions and solve complex problems.Computer Skills: Requires knowledge of contract management systems, database software, manufacturing software, order processing systems, spreadsheet and word processing applications.
