Locum Tenens CRNA in Dunkirk, NY - 13+ week assignment providing general and orthopedic anesthesia with competitive weekly pay ($5,540-$5,840). Join a collaborative anesthesia team at a new site launch in Western New York.

Exciting locum tenens opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Dunkirk, NY (zip 14048). Provide perioperative care for general and orthopedic cases in a modern facility. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,540 - $5,840
• Location: Dunkirk, NY 14048 (Western New York) - anesthesia jobs in NY
• Assignment Duration: 13+ weeks (potential for extension)
• Start Date: ASAP ongoing
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts with required beeper call after shift
• Hours per Week: 32 hours/week
• On Call: Weeknight and weekend pager call required
• MD Supervision: Yes (1:4 MD to CRNA ratio)
• Charting System: iPro (electronic charting)

• Current registered professional nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA certification)
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA clinical experience; locum tenens CRNA experience preferred
• Experience with general anesthesia and orthopedic anesthesia cases preferred
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with supervising MDs and OR staff

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain/verify informed patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and perioperative plans with patients and surgical teams
• Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for general and orthopedic cases
• Monitor patients' physiologic status and provide timely clinical interventions
• Coordinate care in a 4-room anesthesia department using iPro electronic charting
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, operating room staff, and supervising anesthesiologists
