Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg Level II for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/11/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work rotating day/evening/night shift schedules /n• Weekend, holiday, on-call, and callback responsibilities as needed /n• Charge responsibilities per unit needs /n• Up to 48 hours billed at regular time considered /n• Care for adult medical/surgical patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and/or behavioral issues /n• Work in a unique specialty unit - one of only a handful of similar units in the country /n• Must have 2 years of medical surgical experience /n• Psychology experience required /n• Telemetry experience required /n• New York RN license required /n• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required /n• Opportunity for dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing after experience requirements are met /n• Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to care for varied patient population in changing environment /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a specialized adult medical/surgical unit that serves patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and behavioral issues.
