Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Geneva, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,146 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Geneva, New York, 14456! Job Title: Registered Nurse - Float Pool Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Acute Care - Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Full Time Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.) Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in Med-Surg/Tele/Critical Care Units License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in New York State Certifications: Minimum certifications required include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS Must-Have: Must be cross-trained for multiple units (medical/surgical, intensive care unit, emergency room) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion Ability to manage multiple priorities and enhance teamwork Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills Description: Full-time position with day shifts and rotation every other weekend and holidays required. Two on-call shifts are also required every four weeks. Candidates must be comfortable floating to various units. Critical care experience is mandatory. Basic Coronary Care certification must be obtained within six months of hire. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification is required within 90 days of hire. Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within two years of hire. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is recommended within two years of hire. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Ability to assess data reflective of patient status and identify age-specific needs.
