Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,862 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/14/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x12 Hour Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year License: NY License required in hand Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Description: Must have a NY license in hand - no exceptions. 4x12 day/night rotation from 0700 to 1900 and 1900 to 0700. Weekends: Every other weekend. Floating required. First-time travelers accepted. Must have experience with a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg. High volume unit with 26 beds. Cares primarily for patients with CHF, acute MIs, post-device care, and arrhythmias. Unit also provides care for general surgery patients including procedures related to colon rectal, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic surgeries, and breast reconstruction. Staffing includes 528 total beds. Candidates must float as required. Charting system experience with EPIC is a hard requirement. Background policy is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
