Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) skilled in both English and Spanish, supporting students
within an independent school district in Mesquite, Texas. This
itinerant role focuses primarily on serving kindergarten through
5th-grade campuses, with duties centered on evaluations as part of
the districts specialized team. Location: Mesquite, TX On-site at
multiple campuses within the district, with a hybrid work option
allowing one remote day per week for report writing and
administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive
speech and language evaluations for K-5 students as a member of the
districts evaluation team. Provide support and services in both
English and Spanish to address diverse student needs. Collaborate
with school staff and families to develop and implement
individualized intervention plans. Utilize district resources
effectively, including test kits, computer systems, and official
communication channels. Maintain accurate and timely documentation
in compliance with district and state guidelines. Qualifications
and Experience: Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
required. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish essential.
Experience working in school settings preferred. Strong assessment
and communication skills, especially within early childhood
education (K-5). Ability to function effectively as an itinerant
provider covering multiple campuses. Work Schedule: Up to 30 hours
per week, full- or part-time flexibility. Contract term through May
28, 2026, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible. This
