The role involves working in a dynamic perioperative environment that specializes in orthopedic and trauma cases, providing critical care to surgical patients. Location: The position is based in a hospital with a dedicated 10-operating room suite, fully equipped to handle complex surgical procedures. The facility supports both day and night shifts, requiring RNs and Certified Surgical Technologists who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities: Assist in perioperative patient care, focusing on orthopedic and trauma surgeries. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal procedure outcomes. Maintain sterile techniques and operate specialized surgical equipment. Participate in call rotations and weekend shifts (typically 4-6 shifts per month). Qualifications/Desired Experience: Active RN license with CVOR nursing experience required. Completion of PeriOp 101 nursing course mandatory. Certified Surgical Technologists must have current certification and experience in ortho and trauma cases. Ability to handle a variety of orthopedic and trauma surgical procedures. Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure. Work Schedule: Day and Night shifts available. Approximately 4-6 call shifts per month, including weekends as needed.
