Registered Nurse (RN) | Interventional Radiology Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Olaro Pay: $2,702 per week Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Olaro to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Rochester, New York, 14445! Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our advanced imaging team. In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will assist in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including vascular disease, cancer, trauma, and organ dysfunction. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients and procedure rooms, operating fluoroscopy and digital imaging equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting physicians during catheter placements, angiograms, embolizations, biopsies, and other interventional procedures. You will also monitor patients' vital signs, administer contrast agents, and ensure accurate documentation of procedural images and data. This role requires technical excellence, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. You'll collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and anesthesiologists in a multidisciplinary environment that blends diagnostic imaging with therapeutic intervention.
