Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work rotating day/evening/night shift schedules - no straight shifts available • Every other weekend schedule required • Holiday, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs • Provide competent patient care based on established standards under direction of Nurse Manager • Assume expanded role responsibilities including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member duties • Engage in clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, research and evidence-based practice • Two years of nursing experience required • Telemetry experience required • New York RN license required (NY licenses only accepted) • BLS certification required (American Heart Association only) • Level II Registered Nurse position with expanded accountability and leadership opportunities Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
