Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for a local contract at a prestigious hospital in Buffalo, New York. /n/n/n/n/n/n /n/n/n /n/n/n/n/n/n Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3x12. /n - Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) based on acute care protocols. /n - Monitor and assess patients’ cardiovascular status, responding promptly to changes in condition. /n - Administer medications and treatments following BLS and ACLS guidelines. /n - Document patient care activities accurately using the Epic electronic health records system. /n /n/t /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). /n - Current Registered Nurse license for the state of New York. /n - 2 years of acute Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing experience required. /n - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required. /n - Experience with Epic electronic health records system is required. /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
