Job Description Emergency Department APP (PA/NP) Full-Time | W2 | Olean, New York Join a collaborative, community-based Emergency Department with strong physician support, dedicated APP mid-shift coverage, and a predictable schedule. THE BASICS Role: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Emergency Medicine Schedule: 9a–9p 11a–11p 2p–2a Employment: Full-time, W2 Location: Olean, NY EMR: Meditech DEPARTMENT SNAPSHOT Annual volume: ~26,000 visits/year Coverage model: 3 APP mid-shifts providing overlap and support Community-based ED with diverse case mix Team-oriented, fast-paced environment WHAT YOU’LL DO Perform patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations Manage acutely ill and injured ED patients Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and APPs Document care accurately in Meditech EMR Follow departmental protocols to ensure patient safety and quality WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience Active New York PA or NP license ACLS, BLS, and PALS required Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Comfortable working independently in a busy ED WHY THIS ROLE Strong APP and physician team support Clear shift structure with built-in coverage Competitive compensation and benefits Opportunity for continued growth and skill development NEXT STEP Interested in learning more or applying?
