Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Geneva, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,380 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Float Pool Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Critical Care Duration: Full Time Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum 1 year in Med/Surg, Tele, or Critical Care Units License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required through AHA or RQI system Must-Have: Must be comfortable floating between ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MST. BSN required. Candidates must have critical care experience. Description: This position requires RN Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) with every other weekend and holiday rotations. Must be cross-trained for multiple units including Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care, and Emergency Room. ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. Candidates must complete Basic Coronary Care within six months of hire. Crisis Prevention Intervention certification is required within 90 days of hire. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion is essential. Candidates must be capable of managing multiple priorities effectively. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are necessary. Computer literacy is preferred, including experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan. The role requires the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret information to identify each patient's requirements.
