Assistant in Surgery Elevate Patient Care with Us We're seeking a
skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our Surgical
team at UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health. As a key member of our
team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient
care and supporting our surgeons in the OR and clinic settings.
About the Role - Act as First Assist in the OR and support pre- and
post-operative care in the clinic - Collaborate with our Chief of
Surgery, Vascular, and Oncology Surgeons to ensure continuity of
care - Participate in clinic responsibilities, including
pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up - Coordinate
communication with referring and primary care providers
Requirements - Current Physician Assistant license in NYS -
National Certification (NCCPA) - Valid DEA license - BLS and ACLS
certification - Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
