Registered Nurse (RN) | Electrophysiology Lab Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,636 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified EP Lab RN in Rochester, New York, 14642! Job Title: Electrophysiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: New York License Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have: - 2 years of experience - New York License - BLS certification from the American Heart Association ONLY Description: An electrophysiology registered nurse performs diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and interventions in a clinical setting. Your duties include preparing patients for procedures and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. You will monitor readouts during the procedure and assist with lab analysis and interpretation of data. Communicating with physicians and in-room staff to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available is essential. You will facilitate room turnover and on-time starts for timely patient care. Collaboration with the charge nurse and third-party vendors is required to ensure all team members are available for scheduled procedures. The registered nurse will assist at the sterile field by preparing the patient and equipment for studies and ablations. You will maintain fluids for the ablation catheter and assist with the ablator while remaining patient-focused. Documenting during studies and ablations using the specified documentation system is required. Proficiency in moderate sedation is necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience with cardiac implant or structural heart scrub, knowledge of GE systems, and familiarity with typical electrophysiology procedures such as RF ablations, device implants, and low-risk procedures. 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new facilities and teams challenges your problem-solving skills.
