Job Title: RN Endo/GI Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy/Gastroenterology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5 days per week Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of Endo/GI experience required License: New York State RN License Certifications: BLS Certification (AHA) Must-Have: - New York State RN License - 2 years of Endo/GI experience - BLS Certification Description: Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns. Observing patient vital signs. Sedating patients before procedures. Recovering patients after procedures. Administering the necessary medication to patients. Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents. Preparing the instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure. Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use. Providing assistance to doctors throughout the procedure.
