Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a
skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an Adult
Transition Program in a high school setting. This contract position
is based in Warren, MI, with an ASAP start date. The role requires
2 days per week, providing essential speech-language services to
individuals preparing for life beyond school environments. While
onsite presence is preferred at the Flatrock Transition Center,
hybrid or virtual arrangements will be considered to accommodate
flexible working needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
individualized speech-language therapy focused on adult transition
needs. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary
teams to support communication goals. Conduct assessments and
document progress aligned with program objectives. Facilitate
communication strategies that enhance independence and community
integration. Participate actively in team meetings and contribute
to program development. Desired Qualifications: Valid certification
as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working within school
environments, particularly with adult transition populations.
Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders across the
lifespan. Ability to develop and implement effective communication
interventions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexibility to work onsite, hybrid, or virtually as needed.
Location: Warren, MI Schedule: 2 days per week Position Type:
