Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,910 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Rochester, New York, 14445! Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN – New York Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, block scheduling available upon request Highlights: 19-bed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, phlebotomy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams Day/evening ratios of 5:1 (stretch 6-7); night ratios of 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10 when needed) Patient Care Technicians on all units handle vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living Epic charting system utilized; in-house phlebotomy team manages peripheral lab draws Diverse case mix including acute kidney injury, sepsis, alcohol withdrawal, altered mental status, and various infectious diseases 12-hour paid orientation with up to 5 billable hours for pre-start training modules Requirements: Active New York RN license required (must be in hand prior to submission) Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience BLS and NIHSS certifications required Epic charting experience strongly preferred Competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response team protocols, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions Must reside outside 75-mile local radius Willingness to float within scope to like units as needed Time-off requests should be limited to approximately one week Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work on a progressive telemetry unit with strong interdisciplinary collaboration and comprehensive support services.
