Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Care /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts as a Per Diem RN /n• Two years acute hospital experience as an RN required /n• One year ED hospital experience as an RN required /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (Must be AHA or RQI) /n• NYS RN Licensure required /n• Apply knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high quality compassionate care /n• Assess patient needs and identify urgent or emergent care priority /n• Provide direct care, apply appropriate interventions, and evaluate patient progress /n• Utilize various invasive and non-invasive procedures, treatments, and therapeutic interventions /n• Manage life-threatening and routine emergency situations /n• Connect with patients and families during triage and assign priority of care according to ESI training /n• Conduct primary and secondary assessments of patients of all age groups /n• Document major deviations from norm within acceptable time frames /n• Assess physiological, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and families /n• Prepare patients and families for diagnostic procedures and treatments /n• Provide patient education and discharge instructions /n• Maintain patient communication boards throughout ED stay /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department providing high-quality emergency medical services to the community.
