Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Cardiac OR Operating Room - Registered Nurse/n/n Location/n New York, NY /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 12-hour shift - 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM /n/nJob Description/n The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients including CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure treatments (VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart, and Heart Transplants). Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff provides care for patients of all ages. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality patient care in a cardiac operating room setting. /n - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. /n - Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures as necessary. /n - Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies effectively. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - RN License (New York License ONLY) /n - BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) /n - Two (2) years of experience as an operating room nurse is required. /n - Experience in a level 1 trauma center is preferred. /n - Able to scrub and circulate effectively during surgical procedures. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
